Pinpoint Test M : DTC U1000:00 - RFA: Notes
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 Lincoln Navigator and 2017 Ford Expedition. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Diagnostic Overview
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The RFA controls the output of several vehicle systems by means of solid state drivers. When an overload occurs on any of these drivers, a DTC sets. The RFA also tracks the number of repetitive faults on each of these circuits. The module compares this number of overloads to 3 progressive thresholds established for each circuit. At the each threshold, DTC U1000:00 sets along with the DTC associated with the affected circuit.
If the third threshold is exceeded, U3000:49 sets. U3000:49 cannot be cleared and the RFA will need to be replaced after the circuit fault is repaired. For more information on FET protection, refer to Module Controlled Functions .
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| U1000:00 | Solid State Driver Protection Activated-Driver Disabled: No Sub Type Information | Sets when the RFA has disabled a circuit due to a repetitive circuit overload and a progressive threshold is met. |
| U3000:49 | Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure | Sets when the RFA has disabled a circuit due to a repetitive circuit overload and a progressive threshold is met. This DTC cannot be cleared. |
