Driver Door Module (DDM)

For vehicles equipped with memory driver seat, the DDM receives power window commands from the master window control switch through a LIN. The DDM supplies the applicable voltage signals to the driver door window regulator motor to operate the window in the desired direction.

The DDM also communicates master window control switch requests to the PDM through the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) to operate the passenger door window from the master window control switch. PMI is required if installing a new module.
