Pinpoint Test O : U3003:62 - Abs (Anti-Lock Brake System) Module: Notes

Refer to Vehicle Dynamic Systems for schematic and connector information.

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

The ABS module, hydraulic pump and solenoid valves require an operating voltage that is between 10 and 17 volts. The ABS module receives this voltage from the BJB. The BCM broadcasts a vehicle voltage message on the HS-CAN for other modules to use as a check for their own voltage inputs. Excessive resistance or an open in the ABS module voltage circuits, a discharged battery, an inoperative charging system or a communication concern results in the ABS module setting a DTC. This is most likely due to a concern in the HS-CAN or a concern in the vehicle battery or charging system.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U3003:62 Battery Voltage: Signal Compare Failure This DTC sets when the vehicle voltage message sent from the BCM varies by more than 2 volts from the actual voltage measured by the ABS module.
