DTC U045A Invalid Data Received From Parking Assist Control Module A: Action

CARRY OUT a self-test of the PAM. If the diagnostic scan tool indicates the module is not responding, REFER to appropriate Module Communications Network article to diagnose the network communication concern. If PAM DTCs are present, REFER to the appropriate Parking Aid System article to diagnose the PAM system fault. If there are no DTCs in the PAM, SET the ignition to OFF.

DISCONNECT and INSPECT all PAM electrical connectors and related inline connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
