Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

Possible Sources
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- A/C system discharged or low refrigerant charge
- Network concerns
- A/C pressure transducer
- Evaporator temperature sensor
- In-vehicle temperature sensor
- Discharge air temperature sensors
- Electric cooling fan
- Intake Air Temperature (IAT) / Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
- Active grille shutters (if equipped)
- A/C compressor clutch air gap
- A/C compressor clutch field coil
- A/C clutch relay
- HVAC control module
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Inspect for loose or corroded PCM and A/C clutch relay connection
- Verify BJB fuses 27 (15A) and 34 (10A) are OK.
