The ISS sensor B is attached to the transmission housing. The spacer washer provides a defined distance between the sensor and the transmitter wheel. The spacer washer has a thickness of 3.2 mm +/- 0.05 mm for standard and single span transmission and 2.0 mm +/- 0.05 mm for super span transmissions.
The sensor detects the rotational speed of 4th gear on output shaft B (hollow shaft). It is a magneto-resistive sensor which measures the rotational speed.
