Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
Clutch motor 2 is a 3 phase bi-directional DC motor that is controlled by the TCM. The TCM monitors the clutch motor position using three Hall-effect sensor inputs.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| P087A | Clutch Position Sensor "B" Circuit | Clutch motor B fault detected. |
| P087B | Clutch Position Sensor "B" Circuit Range/Performance | Clutch motor B hall effect sensor fault detected. |
| P087E | Clutch Position Sensor "B" Circuit Intermittent | Clutch motor B sequence fault detected. |
| P090A | Clutch "B" Actuator Control Circuit/Open | Open circuit detected on one of the 3 phase circuits. |
| P090B | Clutch "B" Actuator Control Circuit Performance | This DTC sets along with P090A, P090C and/or P090D. Used to turn on the wrench light. |
| P090C | Clutch "B" Actuator Control Circuit Low | Short to ground detected on one of the 3 phase circuits. |
| P090D | Clutch "B" Actuator Control Circuit High | Short to power detected on one of the 3 phase circuits. |

- Connectors damaged or pushed-out terminals, corrosion, loose wires and missing or damaged seals
- Clutch position sensor
- Clutch motor
