Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The clutch mechanical DTCs P286F, P287A, P2872, P2877 could be an indication that one or both of the clutches is binding or partially stuck. If any electrical clutch DTCs are set they should be resolved first before proceeding with this pinpoint test.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| P286F | Clutch A Disengagement Time Performance/Too Slow | This DTC sets when the TCM detects that clutch A is slow to engage or disengage. If this DTC sets the TCM disables the gears supported by clutch A (1, 3, 5). |
| P287A | Clutch B Stuck Engaged | This DTC sets when the TCM detects that the clutch is not in the proper position. |
| P2872 | Clutch A Stuck Engaged | This DTC sets when the TCM detects that the clutch is not in the proper position. |
| P2877 | Clutch B Disengagement Time Performance/Too Slow | This DTC sets when the TCM detects that clutch B is slow to engage or disengage. If this DTC sets the TCM disables the gears supported by clutch B (2, 4, 6, R). |
