DTC U0428: Invalid Data Received From Steering Angle Sensor Module

81	This DTC sets if the ABS module receives "no data exists" or "faulty" in the active steering messages. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all SASM DTCs first. If no SASM DTCs are present, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all SASM electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
82	This DTC sets if the active steering rolling counter is incorrect. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all SASM DTCs first. If no SASM DTCs are present, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all SASM electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
83	This DTC sets if the calculated and received active steering checksum is incorrect. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all SASM DTCs first. If no SASM DTCs are present, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all SASM electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
