Body Control Module B (BCMB): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the BCM-B (Body Control Module-B) following the on-screen instructions.

  2. Remove the luggage compartment weatherstrip.

  3. Remove the spare tire cover.

  4. If equipped, remove the subwoofer and amplifier unit. Refer to: Subwoofer Speaker .
    1. Remove the pin-type retainers.
    2. Position aside the RH luggage compartment side trim panel.

  5. Remove the nuts and the BCM-B (Body Control Module-B).

    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

      Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
