Inspection
Left hand drive
- With the steering system fully assembled, measure the lengths of the lower shaft. If either length is out of range, discard the lower shaft and install a new one. Do not attempt to repair the shaft.
Right hand drive
- With the steering system fully assembled, measure the lengths of the lower shaft. If either length is out of range, discard the lower shaft and install a new one. Do not attempt to repair the shaft.
