| Wheel speed data | ABS module | The TCCM uses wheel speed information for the four-wheel drive system to determine percentage of torque to be transferred to the front wheels. |
| Steering wheel angle | ABS | The TCCM uses steering wheel angle information to disengage the 4WD clutch to prevent bind up during parking lot maneuvers in 4A, 4H, and to some degree in 4L. |
| Gear and level state | TCM | The TCCM uses gear and level state for the four-wheel drive system to determine percentage of torque to be transferred to the front wheels. |
