Pinpoint Test K : Control Module Internal Faults
- Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The ATCM and TCCM run routine diagnostic checks of the module's internal hardware. If a fault is detected with the hardware, programming, or performance, the module will store a DTC.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition ATCM U2002:9E Switch: Stuck On The ATCM monitors the switch input every 10 ms. If the switch contacts are closed for more than 2 minutes, the ATCM will store a DTC. Mode selection will not be possible by pressing the button. Customer objects placed on the switch can cause this DTC to set. CLEAR the DTC and CARRY OUT the ATCM On Demand self-test. If the DTC sets, INSTALL a new ATCM. REFER to: All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) . ATCM U2009:9E Rotary Encoder: Stuck On The ATCM has detected a short or open circuit for the rotary encoder optical sensor. The fault is internal to the ATCM. INSTALL a new ATCM. REFER to: All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) . ATCM U3000:49 Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure Sets when the ATCM detects an internal electronic failure. INSTALL a new ATCM. REFER to: All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) . TCCM P06B8:00 Internal Control Module Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) Error: No Sub Type Information Sets when the TCCM detects an internal control module Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) Error. INSTALL a new TCCM. REFER to: Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) . TCCM U3000:04 Control Module: System Internal Failures Sets when the TCCM detects an internal system failure. INSTALL a new TCCM. REFER to: Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) . TCCM U3000:46 Control Module: Calibration/Parameter Memory Failure Sets when the TCCM detects certain calibration parameters are invalid or there is a memory failure. INSTALL a new TCCM.
