Pinpoint Test U : Internal Module Failure

  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, CLEAR the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and REPEAT the self-test. If the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is retrieved again, INSTALL a new HVAC control module. REFER to the appropriate Removal and Installation procedure in this service information.

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    HVAC U3000:49 Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure Sets when the HVAC control module detects an internal fault.
