Fuel Injector Heater
The fuel injector heater provides a heat source at the fuel rail during combustion to improve cold engine starting and operation. The fuel injector heater is made of a resistive material that heats up when electricity flows through it. The fuel injector heater is controlled by the fuel injector heater control module. The PCM may activate the fuel injector heater control module and the fuel injector heaters any time the engine is running during cold ambient temperatures. For additional information, refer to Cold Start System.
