P2ABA - WASTEGATE Position Sensor B Circuit

DTC DESCRIPTION P2ABA - WASTEGATE POSITION SENSOR B CIRCUIT

Description:  This DTC sets when the TCWP2 circuit voltage is greater than or less than a calibrated threshold.
Possible Causes: 
  • Damaged or restricted wastegate motor linkage
  • TCWP2 circuit open
  • TCWP2 circuit short to ground
  • TCWP2 circuit short to voltage
  • Damaged turbocharger wastegate position 2 sensor
  • Damaged harness connector
Diagnostic Aids:  Check the harness for intermittent concerns, incorrect connections, routing, alterations and damage due to contact with other components.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
