Pinpoint Test BO: A IPMA (Image Processing Module A) Does Not Communicate With The Diagnostic Scan Tool

  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    REFER to: Lane Keeping System - System Operation and Component Description .

    Possible Sources 

    • Fuse
    • Wiring, terminals or connectors
    • Module

  2. BO1 CHECK IPMA (IMAGE PROCESSING MODULE A) MODULE CONNECTED WITH SCAN TOOL

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, check IPMA communicates with scan tool.

    Is it communicates with scan tool? 

    Yes  The system is operating correctly at this time.
    No  REFER to: Controller Area Network (CAN) Module Communications Network . REFER to: Ethernet Module Communications Network .
