Possible Causes

  1. AO1: CHECK THE RCM MOUNTING 
    • Verify the RCM is installed correctly and the fasteners are tightened to specifications. Refer to RCM Removal and Installation in the Supplemental Restraint System article.
    • Is the RCM mounted correctly? 
      Yes No
      CARRY OUT the RCM self-test. DIAGNOSE the DTCs present. REFER to the Supplemental Restraint System article. REINSTALL the RCM or TIGHTEN the fasteners to specification. REFER to the Supplemental Restraint System article.
