The Yellow Adaptive Steering System Warning Indicator Flashes Once Per Second During Start Up

Possible Source Action
  • Offset between the steering wheel and road wheels is too large.
  • This is a normal operating condition of the adaptive steering system. If the offset is too large, the system removes the offset by turning the steering wheel with the adaptive steering motor to the desired position.
  • DTC C100C:68 may also set for this condition. INFORM the customer the steering wheel should not be turned when the ignition is OFF.
