Pinpoint Test U: U1A4C:55

  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    REFER to: Module Controlled Functions - System Operation and Component Description .

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    BCM U1A4C:55 Build / End of Line mode Active: Not Configured This DTC sets when the BCM is set in factory mode.

    Possible Sources 

    • BCM programing
    • BCM

  2. U1 CONFIRM THE DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) RESETS

    • Make sure the vehicle is stationary and the BCM entry level requirements are met prior to performing the self-test.

    • Ignition ON.

    • Connect the diagnostic tool.

    • Using the diagnostic scan tool, clear the DTC.

    • Wait 10 seconds.

    • Using the diagnostic scan tool, perform the BCM self-test.

    Is DTC U1A4C:55 still present? 

    Yes  REFER to: Factory Mode Deactivation .
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been falsely set by the BCM.
