DTC P2610 - ECM/Pcm Engine Off Timer Performance

P2610 - ECM/PCM ENGINE OFF TIMER PERFORMANCE

Description:  This DTC sets when an error in the internal PCM engine off timer processor occurs.
Possible Causes: 
  • KAPWR circuit open
  • KAPWR circuit short to ground
  • Battery cables loose
  • Intermittent battery cable connections
  • Engine cooling system concerns
  • Damaged Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor
Diagnostic Aids:  Verify the PCM is at the latest calibration level.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST Z .
