Passenger Seat H Point Lift Sensor

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2021 Ford F-150. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

If equipped with max recline, the passenger seat is equipped with a H point lift sensor. As the passenger seat is reclined toward the flat position, the rear of the cushion rises. The H point lift sensor is a CiPos sensor which uses a PWM function to track the movement of the H point lift mechanism. Feedback from the H point lift sensor is communicated to the DSM for the purpose of notifying the OCS as well as requesting a warning chime and indication if the h-point lift has moved vertically while the vehicle is moving.
