The SCMG controls the operation of the driver multi-contour seat. PMI is required when a new SCMG is installed. The SCMG communicates on the MS-CAN. The SCMG controls the multi-contour seat control pump which supplies air pressure necessary to be diverted to the applicable air bladders as required for the desired mode(s) of operation and also communicates to the multi-contour seat cushion module through a LIN.
