DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Condition |
|---|---|---|
| PCM P0420:00 | Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1): No Sub Type Information | Sets when PCM detects the bank 1 catalyst system efficiency is below the acceptable threshold. Under normal closed loop fuel conditions, high efficiency catalysts have oxygen storage capability. As catalyst efficiency deteriorates, its ability to store oxygen declines. Refer to the Catalyst Efficiency Monitor description for additional information. Diagnose any base engine concerns. Refer to ENGINE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION . |
| PCM P0430:00 | Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2): No Sub Type Information | Sets when PCM detects the bank 2 catalyst system efficiency is below the acceptable threshold. Refer to the ENGINE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION |
