Removal And Installation: Condenser: Removal

NOTE:
During the removal of components, cap, tape or otherwise appropriately protect all openings to prevent the ingress of dirt or other contamination. Remove protective materials prior to installation.

- Recover the refrigerant. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .
- Remove the radiator grille. Refer to: Radiator Grille .
- Remove both the headlamp assemblies. Refer to: Headlamp Assembly .

- All Vehicles. Disconnect the horn electrical connector and detach the wiring harness retainer.
- Vehicles Equipped With Hood Ajar Switch. Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Vehicles Not Equipped With Hood Ajar Switch. Detach the wiring harness retainer.
- Vehicles With Park Aid Camera. Detach the wiring harness retainers.
- Detach the pin-type retainer, release the clips and position the washer fluid hose aside.

- Remove the push-pins.
- Remove the bolts.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Remove the bolts and the radiator grille bracket.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

- Remove the condenser inlet, outlet line nuts and disconnect the fittings. Make sure to cover any open ports to prevent debris from entering the system.
Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)
- Remove the condenser mounting bolts.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Remove the condenser inlet, outlet line nuts and disconnect the fittings. Make sure to cover any open ports to prevent debris from entering the system.
- Remove the push-pins and the LH air deflector.
- Remove the bolts and position aside the power steering oil cooler.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Remove the bolts, release the tab and position aside the transmission oil cooler.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Release the tab and remove the condenser.
