Network Message Chart

PFSM Network Input Messages 

Broadcast Message Originating Module Message Purpose
Ignition status BCM Provides the ignition status. The ignition status must be OFF for the PFSM to enable the power folding seat feature.
Gear lever position PCM Provides the status of the gear selector lever position. The gear selector lever position must be in PARK for the PFSM to enable the power folding seat feature.
Vehicle speed PCM Provides the vehicle speed status. The vehicle speed status must indicate the vehicle is not moving for the PFSM to enable the power folding seat feature.
Battery saver status BCM Provides the battery saver status. The PFSM disables the power folding seat feature 10 minutes after the ignition is switched off.
Rear door ajar status BCM Provides the status of the rear liftgate position. The rear liftgate must be open for the PFSM to enable the power folding seat feature.
