Normal Operation And Fault Conditions
With the ignition ON, the BCM sends messages to the SASM over the HS-CAN . If the SASM does not receive these messages within the specified time frame, the module sets a DTC . This can be due to a BCM failure, a circuit failure on the HS-CAN or an excessive load on the network. For information on the cruise control messages sent to the SASM by the BCM , REFER to Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control .
