Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The GFM2 communicates with the BCM over the HS-CAN1. REFER to: Communications Network - System Operation and Component Description .

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0140:01 Lost Communication With Body Control Module: General Electrical Failure A continuous memory DTC that sets in the GFM2 if data messages received from the BCM over the HS-CAN are missing.
