Powertrain/Drivetrain Mount Neutralizing

Adjustment
All vehicles
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the fasteners and rear undershield.
- Loosen, but do not remove the rear electric drive assembly fasteners.
- Loosen, but do not remove the rear electric drive assembly fasteners.
LHD AWD/RHD AWD

- Remove the bolts and position aside the fender splash shield.
- Remove the pin type retainers.
- Remove the bolts and front undershield.
LHD AWD/RHD AWD
- Loosen, but do not remove the roll restrictor fasteners. Verify that the roll restrictor is loose.
GT
- Loosen, but do not remove the roll RH restrictor fasteners. Verify that the roll restrictor is loose.
- Loosen, but do not remove the roll LH restrictor fasteners. Verify that the roll restrictor is loose.
LHD AWD/RHD AWD
- Remove the SOBDM. Refer to: Secondary On-Board Diagnostic Control Module A (SOBDM)

Base
- Remove the RH mount bolts.
- Remove theLH mount bolts.
GT
- Remove the RH mount bolts.
- Remove the LH mount bolts.
LHD AWD/RHD AWD
- Gently raise the powertrain and lift the motor mounts from the body. Use the General Equipment: Trolley Jack. Use the General Equipment: Wooden Block
- Gently lower the powertrain and motor mounts back down onto the body. Remove the jack.
All vehicles

NOTE: Do not twist or strain the powertrain/drivetrain mounts or damage to the mounts may occur.
Rest the vehicle on the ground. Rock the vehicle on the parking pawl to neutralize the mounts.
GT
- Inspect the mounts for bolt interference and verify the mounts are not twisted or preloaded.
- Install the LH mount bolts.
Torque: 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
- Install the RH mount bolts.
Torque: 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
- Inspect the roll restrictor for preloading or binding around the clevis. The roll restrictor should be straight.
- Tighten the roll restrictor fasteners.
Torque: 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
- Tighten the roll restrictor fasteners.
Torque: 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
LHD AWD/RHD AWD
- Inspect the mounts for bolt interference and verify the mounts are not twisted or preloaded.
- Install theLH mount bolts.
Torque: 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
- Install the RH mount bolts.
Torque: 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
- Inspect the roll restrictor for preloading or binding around the clevis. The roll restrictor should be straight.
- Tighten the roll restrictor fasteners.
Torque: 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
All vehicles
- Inspect the rear electric drive assembly fasteners for bolt interference and verify the mounts are not twisted or preloaded.
- Inspect the rear electric drive assembly fasteners for bolt interference and verify the mounts are not twisted or preloaded.
- Tighten the rear electric drive assembly fasteners.
Torque: 184 lb.ft (250 Nm)
- Tighten the rear electric drive assembly fasteners.
Torque: 184 lb.ft (250 Nm)
- Install the rear undershield and fasteners.
Torque: 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)
LHD AWD/RHD AWD
- Install the front undershield and bolts.
Torque: 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)

- Install the pin type retainers.
- Position back the fender splash shield and install the bolts.
Torque: 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)
- Install the SOBDM. Refer to: Secondary On-Board Diagnostic Control Module A (SOBDM) .
