| C1B00:09 | Steering Angle Sensor: Component Failure | This DTC sets if the SASM has an internal failure. Using a diagnostic scan tool, CARRY OUT the SASM Module Reset function. CYCLE the ignition from ON to OFF and back to ON. DRIVE the vehicle and carry out at least 1 right turn and 1 left turn. Using a diagnostic scan tool, CARRY OUT the SCCM self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM-clockspring assembly. Refer to: Clockspring - Vehicles With: Adaptive Steering . If the DTC does not return, the repair is complete. |
| C1B00:29 | Steering Angle Sensor: Signal Invalid | This DTC sets if the SCCM receives information from the SASM that does not agree with other inputs. Using a diagnostic scan tool, CARRY OUT the Adaptive Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Trim function. CYCLE the ignition from ON to OFF and back to ON. DRIVE the vehicle and carry out at least 1 right turn and 1 left turn. Using a diagnostic scan tool, CARRY OUT the SCCM self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM-clockspring assembly. Refer to: Clockspring - Vehicles With: Adaptive Steering . If the DTC does not return, the repair is complete. |
