DTC U2108: Adaptive Cruise Control: Action
The ABS module monitors vehicle deceleration during adaptive cruise control braking events to prevent an overbraking situation. This DTC sets when vehicle deceleration is greater than a specified target. This is most likely caused by an abrupt stop of the vehicle due to a collision, an extreme driving situation, a mechanical or electrical failure of the adaptive cruise control system or an internal failure of the ABS module. DIAGNOSE all other ABS module DTCs before diagnosing DTC U2108:68. If there are no other ABS module DTCs present, RETRIEVE and REPAIR all CCM DTCs. REFER to the appropriate Cruise Control article. If there are no CCM DTCs, INSPECT the vehicle braking system for a dragging condition or another condition causing rapid vehicle deceleration.
