The starter motor electrical connection may be faulty, the solenoid switch engagement relay is faulty or the pinion gear or starter pinion or flywheel is damaged.

- Starter motor or relay
- Starter motor ring gear
- Starter motor solenoid switch or coil

- Starter motor cracked or damaged
- Damaged flexplate
