Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: LH wheel speed sensor shown in illustration, RH similar.

Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector and detach the harness retainer.

Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
Remove the bolts and position the caliper and anchor plate assembly aside. Discard the bolts.
Torque: 184 lb.ft (250 Nm)

Remove the brake disc.

Detach the wheel speed sensor harness retainers and routing clips.

Using compressed air, clean the area surrounding the front wheel speed sensor.

Remove the bolt and the front wheel speed sensor.
Torque: 150 lb.in (17 Nm)
