Refer to the DTC Fault Trigger Conditions.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Condition |
|---|---|---|
| PCM P0420:00 | Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1): No Sub Type Information | Sets when PCM detects the bank 1 catalyst system efficiency is below the acceptable threshold. Under normal closed loop fuel conditions, high efficiency catalysts have oxygen storage capability. As catalyst efficiency deteriorates, its ability to store oxygen declines. Refer to Catalyst Efficiency Monitor description for additional information. Diagnose any base engine concerns. Refer to the appropriate Engine System article. |
| PCM P0430:00 | Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2): No Sub Type Information | Sets when PCM detects the bank 2 catalyst system efficiency is below the acceptable threshold. |
