Non Scheduled Updates

Modules with a configuration that does not require the module data to be erased before new data is applied, can be updated at any time, when preconditions are met. The user is offered an automatic or Manual update option for this type of update. The vehicle owner has the choice to disable the automatic update option and manually choose the time the update takes place. Manual updates can be initiated by selecting the update icon. Once an update completes and an ignition key cycle occurs, the user is informed of the successful completion of the update and can access details of the completed update.
