PSCM Network Input Messages

| 4WD range | TCCM | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Informs the PSCM of the current transfer case gear range; low range locked, low range auto, low range 2WD, neutral, high range locked, high range auto, high range 2WD or unknown. |
| Active park assist steering angle request | PAM | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Request for the PSCM to provide steering assist for active park maneuvers. |
| ABS active | ABS module | Used to confirm the operational state of the ABS. |
| Driven wheel torque output | PCM | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Informs the PSCM of the current torque output available at the driven wheels. This information is used for active park assist operation. |
| Engine stop-start status | PCM | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Informs the PSCM of the current engine automatic stop-start system. |
| Ignition status | BCM | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Informs the PSCM of the current vehicle ignition status; off, accessory, run, start, invalid or unknown. |
| Lane keeping alert request | IPMA | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Commands the EPAS gear if intervention is required for the lane keeping alert feature of the Lane Keeping System (LKS). |
| Lane keeping system status | IPMA | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Informs the PSCM of the current Lane Keeping System (LKS) status. |
| Power pack torque status | PCM | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Used to confirm the status of the operating mode; off - torque not available, on - torque not available, start in progress - torque not available or on - torque available. |
| Odometer master value | IPC | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Provides the PSCM with the current odometer value in kilometers. The PSCM uses this information for various fault setting conditions. |
| Outside air temperature | IPC | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Provides the PSCM with the outside air temperature value in Celsius. The PSCM uses this information for various fault setting conditions. |
| Reverse gear status | PCM (Gasoline engines) | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Confirms the status of the driver selected reverse gear; inactive not confirmed, inactive confirmed, active not confirmed or active confirmed. |
| Reverse gear status | TCM (Diesel engines) | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Confirms the status of the driver selected reverse gear; inactive not confirmed, inactive confirmed, active not confirmed or active confirmed. |
| Road curvature | IPMA | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Informs the PSCM of the road curvature and whether the curve is smooth or quick. The PSCM uses this information for the Lane Keep Assist (LKA) system. |
| Stability control event in progress | ABS module | Used to confirm the operational state of the stability control system. |
| Steering angle request | PAM | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Used to command the EPAS gear during parking aid maneuvers. |
| Steering wheel angle | ABS module | Used to verify the validity of the steering angle sensor. |
| Traction control mode | ABS module | Used to confirm the operational state of the traction control system. |
| Turn signal lever position | SCCM | Informs the PSCM of the current driver selected turn signal lever position; off, left, right or unused. The PSCM uses this information for the lane keep assist system. |
| Vehicle configuration information | BCM | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Used to compare the PSCM configuration against the vehicles specific configuration (central car configuration). |
| Vehicle lateral acceleration | ABS module | Used by the PSCM for steering assist calculations. |
| Vehicle longitudinal acceleration | ABS module | Used by the PSCM for steering assist calculations. |
| Vehicle speed | PCM | This message is first sent to the GWM and then to the PSCM. Informs the PSCM of the current vehicle speed. |
| Vehicle yaw rate | ABS module | Used by the PSCM for steering assist calculations. |
| Wheel speed data | ABS module | Provides the PSCM with wheel rotation speed, wheel rotation direction and wheel measurement. This information is used by the PSCM for steering assist calculations. |
