External Controls - Overview: Overview

The shift by wire system uses a rotary dial mounted on top of the GSM to command the Secondary On-Board Diagnostic Control Module C SOBDMC. The GSM controls gear selection.

Gear selection is as follows: Park, Reverse, Neutral and Drive. There is a Low Range button in the center of the gear selection dial for when more powertrain braking or lower gearing is required.
