  2. V1 CHECK FOR OTHER VDM (VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, check the VDM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) other than U2012:56, U2016:61, U2024:4A, U2024:51, U2024:57, U2100:00 or U3000:04 present in the VDM?

Yes  DIAGNOSE all other VDM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) before continuing this test. REFER to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart  .
    No  GO to  V2
  3. V2 CHECK THE VEHICLE SERVICE HISTORY

    • Check the vehicle service history for recent service actions related to the VDM.

Are any recent service actions related to the VDM found?

Yes  INSTALL As-Built data for the VDM following the diagnostic scan tool instructions. REFER to: Module Programming .
    No  GO to  V3
  4. V3 RECHECK THE VDM (VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the VDM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the VDM self-test.

    Is DTC U2012:56, U2016:61, U2024:4A, U2024:51, U2024:57, U2100:00 or U3000:04 still present?

Yes  INSTALL a new VDM. REFER to: Vehicle Dynamics Control Module (VDM) .
No  The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by an intermittent condition.
