Pinpoint Test OC: The Snow/Sand Mode Feature Is Inoperative, Cannot Be Disabled Or Enabled

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The mode select switch is used to activate and deactivate the snow/sand mode feature. When the driver presses the mode select switch, the HVAC module receives a ground signal from the switch. The HVAC module sends a mode select switch message to the ABS module over the HS-CAN2 and the ABS module takes the necessary action depending on the switch inputs.

• Mode select switch
• HVAC module concern
