DTC U0423: Invalid Data Received from Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module: Action

This DTC sets in the ABS module if the traction control switch message from the IPC contains "invalid" instead of actual switch information. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the IPC. REFER to the Instrumentaion, Message Center and Warning Chimes article. If no IPC DTCs are present, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all IPC electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
