Image Processing Module A (IPMA): Removal

NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.
  1. Remove the IPMA cover.

    1. Release the IPMA clips and the tether clip from the IPMA cover.Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    2. Rotate the tether clip line to align the end with the opening in the IPMA cover.
    3. Slide the tether clip end out of the IPMA cover.

  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  3. Remove the IPMA.

    1. Remove the upper tabs.
    2. Remove the lower tabs.
