Exterior Front Door Handles

NOTE:
Some brands/types of mobile phone or laptop computer chargers may cause interference that could lead to a PATS concern if the passive key (if equipped) is within a close proximity of the charge and the No Key Detected message displays in the message center. If a concern is observed, move the passive key (if equipped) away from the charger and attempt to transition the ignition on.
The exterior front door handles contain a keyless entry antenna and capacitive touch sensor(s). The antennas and lock/unlock sensors are wired to the BCM. When activated, the antenna transmits a low frequency signal to activate a passive key (if equipped).
