Front Seat Track Repair

Activation
- If equipped, using both the height and front tilt functions, adjust the seat to it's highest position.
- If equipped with a front seat lower trim panel valance, remove the affected front seat. Refer to the appropriate REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION procedure.
- If equipped, remove the DSM or SCMB. Refer to the appropriate REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION procedure.
- If equipped, remove the seat module mounting bracket.
- Cut 2 pieces of 1 inch (25.4mm) long section of 3/4 inch (19mm) diameter heater hose.
- Cut a slit in both of the 1 inch (25.4mm) pieces of heater hose.
- On both sides, install the heater hose over the front cross tube.
- On both sides, install a 3/8 inch (9.5mm) hose clamp over the heater hose securing the heater hose to the cross tube.

NOTE: Note the orientation of the 3/8 inch (9.5mm) hose clamp.
On both sides, push the heater hose against the handcuff bracket or cushion hook and tighten the hose clamp as shown.
Torque : 33 lb.in (3.7 Nm)
- On both sides, verify the position of the heater hose and hose clamp.
- If equipped, install the seat module mounting bracket.
- If equipped, install the DSM or SCMB. Refer to the appropriate REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION procedure.
- If equipped with a front seat lower trim panel valance, install the affected front seat. Refer to the appropriate REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION procedure.
