DTC C0049: Brake Fluid

Failure Action
01 REFER to the Instrumentation, Message Center and Warning Chimes article to diagnose the brake fluid level switch.
7A This DTC sets due to air in the system from a hydraulic fluid leak. INSPECT the brake system for leaks, REPAIR and REFILL the system as necessary. If there are no leaks or evidence of leaks, BLEED the brake system. REFER to the Brake System General Information article.
7B REFER to the Instrumentation, Message Center and Warning Chimes article to diagnose the brake fluid level switch.
