This DTC sets when the internal temperature of the steering gear exceeds a temperature threshold.
This is most likely due to high ambient temperature conditions, heavy loads on the steering system, or a damaged PSCM housing allowing heat into the steering column. Consult the DTC Index for additional information if needed.
