- Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The TCCM and ATCM monitor the internal circuitry and memory for errors. If a fault is detected multiple times, a DTC is set.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition ATCM U2009:9E Rotary Encoder: Stuck On The ATCM has detected a short or open circuit for the rotary encoder optical sensor. The fault is internal to the ATCM. INSTALL a new ATCM. REFER to: All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) - Vehicles With: Center Console . ATCM U2002:9E Switch: Stuck On The ATCM monitors the switch input every 10 ms. If the switch contacts are closed for more than 2 minutes, the ATCM will store a DTC. Mode selection will not be possible by pressing the button. CLEAR the DTC and CARRY OUT the DTC On Demand self-test. If the DTC sets, INSTALL a new ATCM. REFER to: All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) - Vehicles With: Center Console . ATCM U3000:49 Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure This DTC sets if an internal error is detected while the clutch is on. INSTALL a new TCCM. REFER to: All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) - Vehicles With: Center Console . TCCM U3000:04 Control Module: System Internal Failures This DTC sets if an internal error is detected while the clutch is on. INSTALL a new TCCM. REFER to: Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) . TCCM U3000:46 Control Module: Calibration/Parameter Memory Failure This DTC sets if the two-point motor or clutch calibration is invalid. INSTALL a new TCCM. REFER to: Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) . TCCM U3000:47 Control Module: Watchdog/Safety μC Failure This DTC sets if voltage levels vary across different internal circuit. INSTALL a new TCCM.
