Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
With the ignition ON, the HVAC module sends messages to the ABS module through the GWM over the CAN. If the ABS module does not receive these messages within the specified time frame, the ABS module sets a DTC. This can be due to a HVAC module failure, a circuit failure on the network or an excessive load on the network. | ABS U0164:00 | Lost Communication With HVAC Control Module: No Sub Type Information | Sets when the ABS module receives the auto hold or selectable drive mode messages from the HVAC module with no change in the data. This can be due to a HVAC module failure, a circuit failure on the network or an excessive load on the network. |
| ABS U0164:87 | Lost Communication With HVAC Control Module: Missing Message | Sets when the ABS module does not receive the auto hold or selectable drive mode messages from the HVAC module in the allowed time. This can be due to a HVAC module failure, a circuit failure on the network or an excessive load on the network. |
| ABS U0424:86 | Invalid Data Received From HVAC Control Module: Signal Invalid | Sets when the ABS module is configured for one type of selectable drive mode switch and the ABS module receives a message for a different type of selectable drive mode switch. If the auto hold switch or the selectable drive mode switch message is received with invalid data, this DTC also sets. |
