DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition IPMA U3000:41 Control Module: General Checksum Failure This DTC sets in the IPMA when the IPMA detects the IPMA is not configured correctly. Possible Sources
- IPMA concern
- AO1 CHECK FOR THE CORRECT IPMA (IMAGE PROCESSING MODULE A) CONFIGURATION
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) for the module in question.
Is DTC U3000:41 still present?
Yes CARRY OUT the PMI procedure (when the original module is not available) for the module in question as directed by the diagnostic scan tool. REFER to: Module Programming . No The repair is complete.
