U0422:00 Invalid Data Received From Body Control Module This DTC sets if the ignition signal status message is invalid for 5 seconds. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all BCM (body control module) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). REFER to: Body Control Module (BCM) If the diagnostic scan tool cannot communicate with the BCM, REFER to: Controller Area Network (CAN) Module Communications Network
U0423:00 Invalid Data Received from Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module This DTC sets when the PAM receives invalid network data from the IPC with a faulted signal data input. RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTC s in the other modules on the network.
U0428:00 Invalid Data Received From Steering Angle Sensor Module This DTC sets if the ignition signal status message is invalid for 5 seconds. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all SASMDTC s. If the diagnostic scan tool cannot communicate with the BCM, REFER to: Controller Area Network (CAN) Module Communications Network
. If there are no DTC s in the SASM, the condition may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all BCM, SASM electrical connectors and related in-line connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
