Image Processing Module A (IPMA): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.

Remove the rear RH side seatbelt retractor and pretensioner. Refer to: Rear Seatbelt Retractor and Pretensioner .
1. Release the retainer.
2. Remove the bolts and IPMA brackets and position aside the bracket.
  Torque: 7 Nm

Release the retainer and disconnect the electrical connectors.

Remove the bolts and separate the IPMA from bracket.
Torque: 5 Nm
